CJC-1295 Peptide

5mg / 3ml per vial

CJC-1295 is a lab-modified copy of a natural signal called growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Small tweaks make it last far longer than the natural version, which is why researchers use it to study growth-hormone signalling over an extended window. Supplied as a research-grade compound.

  • Modified GHRH (GRF 1–29) copy

Scientific profile

CJC-1295 at a glance

CJC-1295 attaches to the GHRH receptor on the growth-hormone-making cells of the pituitary gland, setting off internal signals that lead the cell to produce and release growth hormone. Four small changes to its structure help it resist an enzyme (DPP-4) that would normally break it down quickly, so it stays active for longer.

01

What is CJC-1295?

The body's natural growth-hormone-releasing hormone is broken down within minutes by an enzyme called DPP-4. CJC-1295 is a modified copy of the active part of that hormone, changed in four places specifically to resist that breakdown while still fitting its receptor.

The version we supply is the 'non-DAC' modified GRF(1–29) form, the standard research setup used when a shorter, well-defined window of activity is needed.

02

What researchers study CJC-1295 for

In pituitary cell studies, CJC-1295 is used to explore how the GHRH receptor passes its signal along and switches on the growth-hormone gene. Because it resists DPP-4, it's a handy comparison for showing how a peptide's stability translates into longer-lasting activity at the receptor.

It's often paired with a ghrelin-receptor compound such as Ipamorelin in dual-pathway studies, since the two work through different routes but end up driving the same result: growth-hormone release.

03

How to store and prepare CJC-1295

As a larger 29-amino-acid peptide, CJC-1295 needs careful handling. Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the vial wall and let the powder dissolve without shaking, since vigorous mixing can cause clumping and cloudiness.

Keep the mixed solution in the fridge (2–8°C), away from light, and use within 30 days. Don't freeze and thaw it repeatedly.

Mechanism at a glance

CJC-1295 attaches to the GHRH receptor on the growth-hormone-making cells of the pituitary gland, setting off internal signals that lead the cell to produce and release growth hormone. Four small changes to its structure help it resist an enzyme (DPP-4) that would normally break it down quickly, so it stays active for longer.

Certificates of analysis

Every batch tested. Every result published.

Samples from each CJC-1295 batch are sent to an independent, accredited UK laboratory. Purity is measured with a technique called HPLC, and identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry, before the batch is released.

No vial is released until an independent laboratory confirms the batch meets our 99% purity standard.

Research first

Everything is made, filled and documented for laboratory research, with the specs and paperwork coming before any marketing.

UK made, shipped worldwide

Made and filled at Alderley Park, the UK's largest life sciences campus, and shipped with tracking.

Consistent between batches

Every release is held to the same specification, so a repeat order behaves like the last one.

Answers

CJC-1295 questions, answered

Can't find what you need? Our UK team answers technical enquiries within one working day.

Is CJC-1295 third-party tested?

Yes. Every batch of CJC-1295 is checked by an independent UK laboratory that's accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. They confirm its purity (using a technique called HPLC) and its identity (using mass spectrometry). The certificate for the exact batch you receive is published on this page before we put it on sale.

Where is it made and shipped from?

Everything (making the peptide, filling the vials and quality-checking each batch) happens in the UK at our facility on Alderley Park, the country's largest life-sciences campus. Your order is picked, packed and posted from the same site, so nothing crosses a border before it reaches you.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are sent out the same working day on a tracked 24-hour UK service. Delivery is free on orders over £100. Everything ships in plain, unbranded packaging.

What does 99% purity actually mean?

It means at least 99% of what's in the vial is the peptide itself, with almost no leftover by-products. We measure this with a lab technique called HPLC, and only release batches that reach 99% or higher. The exact figure for your batch is printed on its certificate.

How does CJC-1295 come packaged?

CJC-1295 arrives as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial, with a flip-off cap and a tamper-evident seal so you know it hasn't been opened. You'll need bacteriostatic water to mix it (sold separately).

Can I save money by buying more than one vial?

Yes. Two vials save you 10% and three vials save 20% against the single-vial price.

Do I get a Certificate of Analysis with every order?

Yes. A certificate comes with every batch and can be downloaded from this page. It shows the batch number, the date it was made, the purity result, confirmation of identity, appearance, water content and a contamination (endotoxin) check.

Is this product for human use?

No. Everything we sell is supplied strictly as a research-grade compound for laboratory study by qualified researchers. These products are not medicines and are not intended for human or animal consumption, injection, diagnosis or treatment.
