BPC-157 Peptide

10mg / 5ml per vial

BPC-157 is a lab-made peptide (a short chain of 15 amino acids) based on a protein found naturally in the stomach. It's one of the most widely researched peptides in tissue-repair science, studied for how it affects blood-vessel growth, tendon and ligament cells, and the gut lining. Supplied as a research-grade compound.

Scientific profile

BPC-157 at a glance

In laboratory and animal studies, not human trials, researchers have linked BPC-157 to the growth of new blood vessels (through a cell-signalling route known as the VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS pathway), to faster growth and movement of tendon-repair cells, and to changes in nitric-oxide and growth-hormone signalling in damaged-tissue models. These findings come from the lab and have not been shown to carry over to people.

01

What is BPC-157?

BPC-157 is a stable, lab-made peptide built from 15 amino acids (the building blocks that make up proteins). Its sequence copies part of a natural protein called Body Protection Compound, which was first found in human stomach fluid in the early 1990s. Unlike the full natural protein, this shorter 15-part fragment survives stomach acid, one reason it has become such a widely used tool in laboratory research on the gut and on soft tissue like tendons and ligaments.

We make our BPC-157 in the UK using a standard method called solid-phase peptide synthesis, purify it with HPLC, freeze-dry it under vacuum and seal it in medical-grade glass. Every finished batch is sent to an independent, accredited UK laboratory to confirm its identity and purity before any vial is sold.

02

What researchers study BPC-157 for

Most published research looks at how BPC-157 affects the growth of new blood vessels, a key part of how the body repairs itself. In rodent studies, scientists have measured its effect on a cell-signalling pathway (VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS) that helps new capillaries form.

A second area of study is tendon and ligament cells. In lab dishes and tissue samples, researchers track how quickly these repair cells grow, how they move across a simulated 'wound', and how well they cope with stress. A third area is the gut, where BPC-157 was originally discovered, and studies focus on the health of the gut lining.

It's worth keeping in mind that this work is at the laboratory and animal stage. It hasn't been shown to carry over to people, and BPC-157 isn't an approved medicine. We supply it as a well-documented reference compound for researchers running their own studies.

03

How to store and prepare BPC-157

Vials arrive as a freeze-dried powder. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening, so moisture doesn't form on the powder. To mix it, add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial (not straight onto the powder), then swirl gently until it dissolves. Don't shake, as shaking can damage the peptide.

Once mixed, keep it in the fridge (2–8°C), away from light, and use within 30 days. Try not to freeze and thaw it repeatedly, as that breaks the peptide down. If your study runs for a while, split it into smaller portions instead. Sealed, unopened vials stay stable in the fridge for 24 months from the date printed on the Certificate of Analysis.

Answers

BPC-157 questions, answered

Can't find what you need? Our UK team answers technical enquiries within one working day.

Is BPC-157 third-party tested?

Yes. Every batch of BPC-157 is checked by an independent UK laboratory that's accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. They confirm its purity (using a technique called HPLC) and its identity (using mass spectrometry). The certificate for the exact batch you receive is published on this page before we put it on sale.

Where is it made and shipped from?

Everything (making the peptide, filling the vials and quality-checking each batch) happens in the UK at our facility on Alderley Park, the country's largest life-sciences campus. Your order is picked, packed and posted from the same site, so nothing crosses a border before it reaches you.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are sent out the same working day on a tracked 24-hour UK service. Delivery is free on orders over £100. Everything ships in plain, unbranded packaging.

What does 99% purity actually mean?

It means at least 99% of what's in the vial is the peptide itself, with almost no leftover by-products. We measure this with a lab technique called HPLC, and only release batches that reach 99% or higher. The exact figure for your batch is printed on its certificate.

How does BPC-157 come packaged?

BPC-157 arrives as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial, with a flip-off cap and a tamper-evident seal so you know it hasn't been opened. You'll need bacteriostatic water to mix it (sold separately).

Can I save money by buying more than one vial?

Yes. Two vials save you 10% and three vials save 20% against the single-vial price.

Do I get a Certificate of Analysis with every order?

Yes. A certificate comes with every batch and can be downloaded from this page. It shows the batch number, the date it was made, the purity result, confirmation of identity, appearance, water content and a contamination (endotoxin) check.

Is this product for human use?

No. Everything we sell is supplied strictly as a research-grade compound for laboratory study by qualified researchers. These products are not medicines and are not intended for human or animal consumption, injection, diagnosis or treatment.
