A sample from the finished batch goes to an accredited, independent laboratory for purity and identity testing.
A named quality-control lead reviews the full file and either signs the batch off or sets it aside.
The certificate goes live on the product page and stays online for good.
What we measure
A certificate of analysis is only useful if it reports the things that can go wrong. Ours lists the batch number, manufacture and test dates, the method used and the result for each of the following.
Confirmed by mass spectrometry, matched to the expected molecular weight.
Measured by HPLC; we only release batches at 99.00% or higher.
A white to off-white freeze-dried powder, with no visible particles.
Moisture level checked in the finished product (Karl Fischer method).
Screened for bacterial contamination (endotoxins), reported on the certificate.
The amount in each vial checked by weight across the batch.
Testing
